SONG OF CY
THANK YOU by Led Zepellin(song dedicated to Cy at Birth)Click above if it doesn't start right away!
Words to the Song Below
October 3,1976-December 5, 2003
Born Siane, her sisters called her Si-Si, people at school thought it was yes in Spanish so she changed her name to Cy. We also called her Princess Cy.
This my friends, is the song of Cy. Not in music, but in the beauty of her face, her smile and her wonderful humor. She was a friend to everyone and had a natural comical side to her. The most beautiful thing you saw on Cy was her wide open smile.
Cy spent most of her adult life giving herself to others. The homeless, the abused. When she died she was working for a Non Profit agency. This agency helped women that had been battered get out of the unsafe enviroment they were in, put them into a shelter and then set them up in thier own home. Some of these women were taken away from thier homes in another State and moved into Cy's area. She would help them to get any and everything needed inside of thier new homes. She also made sure that the children had the clothing, food and Christmas presents under the tree. She lost her life just minutes after delivering a sofa to a battered woman's new home.
She was a devoted and wonderful Daughter, beautiful Sister,a loving Wife and a fabulous Mother....and everyone around her called her friend. Including me, her Mother.
Her love will live in us for all of eternity, and we can never let the bright light she sparkled with die out, nor allow the work she did in her community to end.

If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you.
When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me.
Kind woman, I give you my all, Kind woman, nothing more.
Little drops of rain whisper of the pain, tears of loves lost in the days gone by.
My love is strong, with you there is no wrong,
together we shall go until we die. My, my, my.
An inspiration is what you are to me, inspiration, look... see.
And so today, my world it smiles, your hand in mine, we walk the miles,
Thanks to you it will be done, for you to me are the only one.
Happiness, no more be sad, happiness....I'm glad.
If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you.
When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me.

As you see from this picture they had a love of the ages. The sweetest of love stories, he was working in a Subway Sandwich Shop and she had just got off work and was standing by a pay phone in the front of that shop waiting for her Dad to pick her up. Jason called the pay phone, told her where he was...she went in and he got her number. The rest was a beautiful story of two young kids and the soul mates they became. That still after 10 years and two children; you can see the love that shined through on this day with this picture. I can never thank Jason enough for the love he gave to my Daughter, and the happiness she felt when they renewed thier 10th Anniversary Vows.

HER LOVING DAD'S
Cy always thought she was such a lucky girl, she told everyone she had Two Daddy's. One was her real Father. One was the man who came into the family when she was 10. She would never allow anyone to call him her step-dad. She said he was her Daddy two.

In Loving Memory of Cy
I met Cy about a year ago at Tandoor, the Indian restaurant where many of us met her for the first time.
With Cy, what you saw -- was what you got. She lived without pretense and gave of her pure heart completely. She had more "best friends" than I can count, because she made each one of us feel like her best friend. Cy was utterly unique. Bubbly and captivating. Compassionate. Generous. Kind. She was never stingy with her love. She told us, and she showed us every time we saw her. Each of us knows how blessed we were to share a few moments on this earth with her.
Although what we've lost is tremendous, what she gave us is immeasurable. Now we are left with our memories and thankfully so many pictures of Cy laughing and goofing off on this webpage. She was always the life of the party.
I miss her terribly already.
Cy found humor in so many things and loved to laugh at herself. To those who knew her, no explanation is necessary... To those who didn't, no explanation is possible... She will live forever in my heart.
I HAVE TO SAY GOODBYE
I STOOD BESIDE YOUR CASKET TODAY,
FOR HEAVEN AWAITS YOU I PRAY.
I TOOK YOUR HAND IN MINE,
JUST TO HOLD YOU ONE MORE TIME.
I FEEL EMPTY INSIDE AND SAD,
I FEEL EMPTY INSIDE AND MAD.
I HAVE TO SAY GOOD-BYE YOU SEE,
BUT, IT'S HARD 'CAUSE I WANT YOU HERE WITH ME.
NOW I HAVE TO LET GO OF THE PAIN,
AND LET YOU RISE TO YOUR DOMAIN.
THE MEMORIES ARE ALL THAT I HAVE LEFT,
MEMORIES OF YOU I WON'T FORGET.
